At ALPS, we utilize high resolution Flexographic (Flexo) printing. This printing environment offers high quality printing at affordable unit pricing.  Flexo printing offers sharper and cleaner printing capability, that can handle subtle tones as well as fine print screen values.  Even difficult image compositions that could only previously be printed using more expensive printing methods are now possible using our state-of-the-art Flexo equipment.

It is important to us that your job goes smoothly, and stays within your budget. If you have any concerns please contact us anytime.

To get started on your print job, please e-mail us your artwork at info@alliedlabel.com . For quality assurance, please fax us a hard copy (preferably from a postscript printer) of your e-mailed artwork so that we can compare it to the electronic file. This extra step will help insure that what you sent via e-mail arrived correctly and completely.

Flexo printing works best when working from vector art produced in a professional graphic package such as Adobe Illustrator/Freehand or CorelDraw (other programs may require translation, which can get expensive.) If there will be halftones or photos in the art, the files should be linked not embedded. That way if we have to manipulate your artwork, we can do it in the format in which the artwork was originally saved. Please avoid using Quark\250 because it presents difficulty when printing in the Flexo environment. We can accept just about any file format, but if you are using something other than the programs mentioned above, please call us so we can discuss your specifics.

We work in a MAC environment, so if you create your files in the PC environment, please convert all fonts to outlines prior to sending the files for correct conversion. This is also advisable in the MAC environment in case the fonts that are sent with the file do not work on our system.
